Meet Dr. Weatherby

Dr. Weatherby is an instrument-rated private pilot who loves flying and helping pilots. He is board-certified in psychiatry and addiction medicine. As a Senior HIMS AME, he can perform all classes of FAA medical exams, FAA employee exams, and HIMS monitoring services. 

Dr. Weatherby started working as an AME in 2020 and has performed thousands of FAA medical exams. He has worked with pilots with complex medical histories and is familiar with all aspects of the special issuance process. 

Working with the FAA on certification issues can be a stressful, nerve-wracking, and expensive process. Dr. Weatherby understands this from his own experiences as a pilot and as a physician. He is dedicated to making this process as painless as possible for you and providing you with reliable expertise and support.
